About Golf House Academy
Our Story
Golf House Academy is an indoor golf academy in Atlanta, founded by Tim Stewart and Jamie Arnold, two tour professionals whose friendship goes back to the semi-final of the 2006 Australian Amateur. We opened in 2024 to share great coaching and a love of the game with kids, families and adults.

Why we started Golf House
Golf gave both of us a career, lifelong friendships and lessons we still lean on every day. Golf House Academy was born out of that shared passion, and a vision to make the game more accessible to the next generation and their families.
We set out to do more than teach golf. We wanted a welcoming golf home where kids of all backgrounds can learn the game and have fun doing it, where parents and kids can bond over golf, and where adults can finally get the coaching and practice time they have been looking for, rain or shine.
We believe there are strong life lessons to be learned from golf. Our goal is to help shape well-rounded people who do well in golf and outside of it.

Tim Stewart
PGA Class A Professional, Specialized in Teaching, and a former European, Asian and Australasian Tour player with wins at the 2019 CAT Open and 2018 Tahiti International Open. TPI and Trackman Level 2 certified.

Jamie Arnold
From the Australasian Tour to the Korn Ferry Tour in the USA, Jamie has played more than 250 professional events, including a win at the 2019 Tahiti Open and a top-10 at the Australian Open.

The early days
Growing up in families that loved the game, Tim and Jamie both started golf young. Their early years were shaped by mentors like Alex Mercer, who also coached Steve Elkington and Greg Norman.
Tim and Jamie play each other in the Australian Amateur semi-final, the first steps on a golfing journey neither of them could have seen coming.
Tim and Jamie travel to the UK together to compete in major amateur events, including the British Amateur, where Tim finishes second.
The pair travel together to play the Qualifying Tournament for the Asian Tour, the highest level of golf in Asia.
After several years competing separately in professional events across Australia, Asia and Europe, Tim and Jamie both play the first year of the PGA Tour China Series.
Tim swaps the links for the books, studying to become a PGA of Australia Certificate Professional and earning a Diploma of Sports Coaching.
Tim gains teaching experience as an Assistant Professional at Monash Country Club, his home club for many years, then becomes Head Instructor at Terrey Hills Golf and Country Club in Sydney.
Still keen to compete, Tim enters Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying on Jamie's advice. Jamie, who played the year before, plays his second full Korn Ferry season.
Tim wins his first four-round professional event at the Tahiti International Open, with his wife Sara on the bag. The couple met through Jamie the year before.
Jamie wins the Tahiti Open after Tim recommends he play it, and earns a top-10 finish at the Australian Open, the most prestigious tournament in Australia.
After years of conversations, Golf House Academy becomes real: a chance for Tim and Jamie to give back to the game that has given them so much.
Golf House Academy opens its doors in Atlanta. Today it is home to kids and adult classes, private instruction, club fitting, Golf House Range and monthly leagues, all under one roof.
