Big wins from the Golf House family this month.

Coach Tommy Chun is moving on to his next chapter, joining his family’s business. His last day coaching with us will be Friday, October 30.

Tommy has been a big part of the Golf House family, and we’re grateful for the energy, care and great coaching he brought to every lesson and class. The good news is this isn’t goodbye. We hope to still see Tommy around Golf House working on his own game and stopping in to say hi.

Fittings are now open at Golf House Academy, and you can see everything and book online on our new club fitting page. Every fitting is a focused 60-minute session with a PGA-certified coach on our launch monitors, and you leave with your own co-branded fitting chart.

• Mizuno irons, wedges and woods ($120): dialled in on Trackman and Foresight, from head and shaft to lie, loft and grip.
• L.A.B. Golf putters ($100): fitted on PuttView for a square, repeatable stroke, with lie, loft, length and balance set to you.

Your clubs are then built to your numbers and ordered direct from the manufacturer.

This month: aim and alignment. Most golfers practise without a reference for where they’re actually aiming, and a small error at address turns into a big miss at 150 to 200 yards. Most amateurs also tend to aim left without realising it.

In this tip, Coach Jamie Arnold shows you how to set up a simple alignment station with sticks so every practice ball starts on your intended line, and you take that confidence to the course.

The October Monday league is in full swing, and signups are now open for November and December. Grab a partner, or come solo and we’ll pair you up, for four nights of team golf on our simulators.

• November League: Monday nights at 8:30 PM, starting November 2
• December League: Monday nights at 8:30 PM, starting early on November 30 so it wraps up well before Christmas
• Format: two-person teams with handicapped scoring, a live leaderboard on Simulator Golf Tour, plus closest to the pin, long drive and skins
• Cost: $200 for all 4 nights, drinks and snacks included

Can’t make a league night? No problem. We’ll book you into a bay to play your round at a time that suits you, and your partner doesn’t even need to be there. The software builds the matchups once all the team rounds are in.

Spaces are limited and league nights fill quickly. You can also find both leagues under Workshops in the Golf House Academy app.

Our weekly curriculum builds your game step by step, moving from the green back to the tee. Here’s what’s coming up:

Dedicated to building confidence and consistency on the greens. Sessions focus on setup fundamentals, stroke mechanics, speed control and green-reading, helping you develop a reliable stroke that stays steady under pressure.

Time to take the skills out of the bay and onto the (virtual) grass. This week focuses on on-course strategy, mental approach and real-world scoring, with coaches guiding you through shot selection and course management.

Time to find the fairway. We’ll work on setup, ball position and swing mechanics to improve your distance, accuracy and confidence with the big stick.

Shots off the turf take center stage: ball-first contact, trajectory control and shot shaping to help you become more consistent from approach distances.

Short-game scoring. We break down Loft, Bounce and Club Head Speed to improve your turf interaction, plus technique, shot selection and distance control to turn tricky lies into easy up-and-downs.
