Mitch Farrer PGA Coach

 

Mitch Farrer is an internationally experienced golf coach specializing in elite player development. Mitch is a two-time Golf Digest “Best Young Teacher” (2023–2024, 2025–2026) award recipient which selects the best teachers under the age of 40 in the whole country.

He has coached on the PGA TOUR. European Tour and Korn Ferry, guiding players to success at the highest levels, most notablty helping Ben Taylor finish 9th on the Korn Ferry Tour Order of Merit and a career-high ranking of 22nd in the FedEx Cup standings on the PGA Tour.

From 2015 to 2018, Mitch served as a coaching assistant to David Leadbetter, working alongside some of the most recognized names in the game. During this time, he contributed to the development of world-class players including Lydia Ko(World No. 1), Michelle Wie, Ian Poulter, and two Masters winners Mike Weir, and Trevor Immelman.

Mitch’s coaching philosophy centers on individualized development, integrating full swing, short game, putting, course management, and mental performance into a structured system designed for long-term improvement. Using advanced tools such as video analysis and trackman and Sports box data, he helps players bridge the gap between practice and on-course performance.

At Golf House Academy, Mitch works with players of all levels, delivering clear, actionable coaching and structured progression plans that build confidence, consistency, and competitive performance.
