Tommy's journey in golf includes being a scholarship athlete at Albany State University, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience. Following his collegiate career, he spent several years at Druid Hills Country Club, where he specialized in teaching beginner and intermediate golfers, as well as leading junior clinics. His approachable teaching style simplifies complex golf concepts, making them relatable and understandable for students of all ages.
Tommy's primary goal in teaching is to make golf more accessible and enjoyable for everyone, whether they are adults or children. He believes that by creating a supportive and fun atmosphere, he can inspire his students to develop a lifelong passion for the sport.
Outside of his teaching duties, Tommy has a variety of interests that enrich his life. He enjoys reading mystery books, cooking both Korean and American cuisine, hiking the picturesque mountains of North Georgia, and embarking on long road trips. These activities reflect his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for diverse experiences, which he brings into his teaching philosophy.
