FAQs

Are clubs provided?

We have clubs in all different sizes, and each golfer will be sized before their first class. If you have your own clubs that you’re used to, you're welcome to bring them.

What does PGA and PGA-certified mean?

The PGA (Professional Golfers' Association) represents the highest standard in golf instruction worldwide. At Golf House Academy, our instructors bring elite experience, having either competed professionally on tour or earned accreditation from leading PGA organizations. Tim Stewart is a Class A Member of the PGA of America and PGA of Australia Certified, while Jamie Arnold is a PGA of Australia Member. These organizations set the benchmark for coaching excellence, ensuring you learn from professionals who have played and trained at the highest levels.

My child already plays golf, is this more focused for beginners or can he/she still attend these classes?

Our classes go beyond the basics, offering intermediate and advanced programs for experienced golfers looking to refine their skills. At Golf House Academy, our instructors bring professional playing experience and elite coaching expertise, using proven PGA, TPI, and Operation 36 methods to enhance technique, consistency, and course strategy. Whether you're sharpening fundamentals or advancing your game, our structured programs provide expert guidance to keep you improving.

What measures do you take to ensure my child's safety?

Safety is our top priority at Golf House Academy. In addition to a comprehensive safety briefing before each class, instructors provide constant supervision to ensure a secure learning environment. Each "zone" is equipped with a vinyl safety screen to protect participants from stray balls or clubs, and our facility layout is designed to minimize risk. We have carefully considered all potential safety factors, implementing structured class protocols and best practices to create a safe and enjoyable experience for every student and instructor. Our goal is to provide a fun, focused, and worry-free environment where kids can develop their skills with confidence.

What's the easiest way to figure out which class my kid should be in?

Our classes are divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, based on Operation 36 testing conducted in our indoor facility. We assess each child's skill level through structured on-course simulations and performance benchmarks to ensure proper placement. Beginners typically fall within Operation 36 Levels 1 & 2, Intermediate golfers in Levels 3 & 4, and Advanced players in Level 5 and beyond. Read the descriptions to see which level best fits your child, or schedule a call with one of our experts for guidance on placement.

Our curriculum runs on a 5-week rolling period and so testing is performed every 5 weeks. If you want to learn more about our curriculum, CLICK HERE.

Seprate sessions can be arranged to undergo testing as availbility allows

What should my kid bring?

Kids are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, and closed shoes are required. Water bottles are also allowed, and we have a water station to help keep everyone hydrated.

Are parents required to stay for their young golfer's class?

Parents are welcome to watch lessons from our waiting area during class, but all of our classes are run by our certified golf instructors. We do ask that parents/guardians and spectators do not enter the coaching areas. Parents do not need to stay during class but we ask that you return in time to collect your child as this can delay the next class as we cannot start until the child is returned to the parent/guardian

Can I do a class with my kid?

Private clinics start at $150/hour for 3 people and each extra person is $50.

Are there additional fees beyond the hourly rate?
